AIFL Regional Development Workshops
During the year, the AIFL holds Regional Development Workshops
in various parts of the country.
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together local leaders
from areas all over the U.S. who have subscribed to the AIFL
mission and are prepared to spearhead efforts in their area
to create a new AIFL committee or chapter.
The workshops include sessions dealing in programmatic and
professional development as well as, updates on current affairs
in different parts of the country. AIFL staff and lay leaders
inform participants on upcoming opportunities for involvement
and share recently formalized decisions that affect the AIFL
and its operations.
To date, AIFL Regional Development Workshops have taken place
in:
Tucson, Arizona - October 2004
Overland Park, Kansas - July 2005
