Lecture Series

The AIFL Lecture Series in NYC focuses on topics of mutual concern to Americans and Israelis in the fields of science, industry, religion, education, media, technology, politics, business, culture and the arts. Rutgers University Professor Dr. Michael Curtis serves as chairman of the series.

Our recent lectures included:

The Blueprint for Victory in the War on Terror - Lt. General Thomas McInerney (Ret.)
and Maj. General Paul Vallely (Ret.), co-authors of Endgame and alumni of the
AIFL Media Military Analysts Mission to Israel.

Israel in the Media - Gideon Meir, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, State of Israel.

Funding Evil, How Terrorism is Financed and How to Stop It - Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld

The Christian Perspective on Israel - Hon. Oded Ben Hur, Ambassador of Israel to the Holy
See; and a prestigious panel of presenters, including Deirdre Mullan, RSM, Sister of Mercy and
Director of Mercy Global Concern; the Reverend William H. Harter, Pastor of Falling Spring
Presbyterian Church in Chambersburg, PA; and Carol Rittner, RSM, professor of
Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Richard Stockton College in New Jersey.

National Security Implications of the 9/11 Commission Report - Mr. Frank Gaffney, former
Assistant Secretary of Defense during the Reagan administration. Mr. Gaffney is a major
contributor to various prominent newspapers and T.V. stations such as
The Washington Post and Fox News.

AIFL co-sponsored a special screening of the award-winning documentary “Blues By the Beach” and the “Pierre Rehov Film Festival”.
