The America-Israel Friendship League is a proud sponsor of the Holy Land in the Heartland Film Festival. This weeklong family oriented event seeks to create a deep cultural understanding between American people and Israel.

The festival is specifically designed to maximize exposure of Israeli society and culture to the American people of the Heartland, create cultural interaction and promote solidarity and understanding between communities, cultures and countries.

Hosted by communities in Georgia and New Mexico, the festivities are commenced and closed with gala events featuring Israeli food and musical performances. Showcased throughout the week are Israeli feature, documentary and short film screenings as well as panel discussions with Israeli film directors and community leaders. In addition, each festival will host educational forums on investing and traveling to Israel, a two day Israeli arts and crafts display, as well as special community events with local institutions and organizations.
