After a historic American Presidential election, and on the eve of national elections in Israel, the AIFL is engaged now more then ever in strengthening ties between our two great democracies.

American Israel bilateral ties will be strengthened through grass roots contacts and people to people missions.

The AIFL is poised to bring American and Israeli political, business, and community leaders together through its innovative and unique exchange programs including upcoming delegations of US School Superintendents, States Attorneys Generals, Harvard Law Students, and Design & Architectural Journalists.

The AIFL is working to expand its presence throughout the United States through its regional chapter development program in areas such as Arizona, Oklahoma, Atlanta, Utah, and San Francisco.

2009 will prove to be a challenging year for the peoples of America and Israel amidst the current global economic turmoil, but the AIFL is poised to make meaningful connections between our peoples through its unique and innovative programming.

AIFL’s new leadership, dedicated staff and lay people, along with its committed board all working together will enable us to meet these challenges and fulfill our mission in the year ahead.
